An Okiya Experience
WHO WE ARE
We are a Hingan-styled group that's very strongly based around the real-world traditions that it stems from; that is, heavily influenced from our impressions of a select focus within Japanese culture. The Hananoie is primarily intended to provide an atmospheric venue for roleplayers to gather and enjoy our best imitation of what it might be like to live the life of a Geisha: a mysterious performer of old-world Japan.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Hanaoie is a very niche roleplay scene, and as such most interactions within the group will be quiet and small. Roleplay focus will be on the experience of learning about Geisha, the subtle political maneuvering within a Geisha house, and performance roleplay elsewhere. This will all be set over a backdrop of a roleplay teaching enviornment centered around music, art, conversation, flower arranging, tea ceremony, and calligraphy.
HOW TO JOIN
Easily! You may add or contact 'Quiet Xaela' on Balmung (more available between 1500-0300 EST ) and they will answer questions you have and get you started if you're really interested! We also have OOC and IC Linkshells if you're hesitant, so there's no need to be concerned about breaking away from your current social circles!
