An Okiya Experience

OOC RULES

- Abide by FFXIV/Square Enix’s TOS.
- The Golden Rule? 'Be Good To Each Other'
- We operate on a Three Strike System for most common issues

- We operate on a Zero Tolerance OR a 'One Special Conversation' policy for sensitive issues.

- Staff and Leadership have open door policies for any problems!

General OOC Roleplay Rules

- Remember that IC actions have IC responses! If your character is acting out or being disruptive, IC staff members might remove them from the scene.

- Keep IC and OOC seperate.

- Do not make other people uncomfortable, ie. if someone says “stop” oocly- then please abide by their wishes. ( see 'Zero Tolerance' OR 'One Special Conversation rule, above )

- We do not offer ERP as a service. What we -do- offer is quality roleplayers for a specific setting.

ONSEN CONDUCT

Please remember that it is considered bad form to enter an onsen without first properly washing yourself. An onsen is not a bath, but a mineral soak; be considerate of others enjoying the medicinal properties and take the time to cleanse yourself ahead of time!

While nudity is allowed in same-sex onsen if you are comfortable being so, shared-bath experiences require bathing suits. Naturally, this also means that any kind of erotic roleplay is not permitted. Thank you!

Also, smoking is not allowed anywhere within the onsen. If you wish to enhance the experience with a pipe, however, there is an open-air spring on the property; please enjoy it!

Last, but certainly not least, please respect the calm environment of the onsen. Do your best to refrain from running or rough-housing within the baths; not only is it unsafe, it is also disruptive to other patrons.

TEAHOUSE CONDUCT

Checking your weapons and outdoor shoes at the door of any new teahouse location is proper and polite! Let's not be rude at a traditional establishment.

Please respect any suggestions a staff member may give you; these 'suggestions' are polite enforcement of ochaya regulation and ignoring them may eventually result in removal.

Do not invade the personal space of staff members or other teahouse visitors. This is rude and disrespectful, and an insult to the teahouse owner.

Please do not explore into offices or kitchens if you are not a staff member.

Do not engage in erotic activities within the teahouse. If a patron or patrons become too graphic, seek aid from a staff member. Barring that, you may politely remove yourself and report the occurance to the okiya otosan.

Please do not engage in barfights within an ochaya. Repairs are expensive, and troublemakers may be permanently banned from the teahouse property.
