ORIGINS

The Wood's Reach is a group of oft-unseen poachers that work closely ( some would say too closely ) with the heavy sylphic presence in the deepest parts of the East Shroud.

Founded by their leader, the Rainbow Fletcher, the group only bursts into activity when called upon to defend the darkest edges of the wood: the Sylphlands. Otherwise they can be found aiding the sylphs themselves-- anything from weaving to mischief-making.

Generally harmless until provoked by encroaching upon their obscure ruleset, the reachmen and reachwomen are usually an interesting -- if not unsettling -- encounter.

Populated By:
Smaller races; hrothgar and roes are unsuited for the higher bowers of the Shroud, but if they prove themselves they are welcome

Grey morals; the law of Men hold little sway over the law of the green. Reachpeople will hunt those doused in woodsin no matter whom or what they hold allegiance to.

Tribal slice-of-life; what the twelveswood gives, they take. There is rarely a need for visiting outposts or cities, and Reachpeople are not loved by civilized society.

GOALS

  • Do not harm the forest, and do not kill wastefully.

  • Aid those who need it, but remain hidden from all others.

  • Cut down both Man and Beast that slices too deep.

  • Cut down both Man and Beast that hunts too much.

  • Above all things, protect the Balance.
